Virginia works as a shaman in Peru as well as during tours abroad with Traditional Plant Medicine Workshops, and has written 40 journals “The First and the Last Apprentice of the Luz Cosmica Experiment“ which was written during the two year diet time and is active in supporting others in creating projects which are beneficial to mankind, the preservation of the planet medicine and saving the knowledge of indigenous people. Proceeds from the book will go to support Nete Ibo an off the grid, independent communty she is developing in the Amazon where people of all nations can live and learn from the plants as well as each other.

 

Deeply passionate about plants, Virgina strives to empower people with honest and authentic information in this field and work with ayahuasca. She is also involved in projects which support indigenous people in preserving their territories, culture and knowledge dedicating all of her time, energy and material resources. Virginia strongly emphasizes the necessity for education and transparency in all aspects of plant medicine.

Currently the Ubermensch team is working with writer Tom Pope who wrote “Tilting In Mid-Ocean” to edit Virginia’s work.

In this episode. Ubermensch talked with Virginia who is a practicing shaman in the Amazon. In the interview they speak to her about her current projects, her life as a shaman, as well as some of the plant diets that she has experienced.
